During the lecture-free period

Order until

• 11.00 a.m. pick up from 12.00 p.m.
• 13.00 pick up from 13.30
• 14.00 (except Fri) pick up from 14.30 (except Fri)

There is an exception for records. These can be borrowed immediately, but must be returned on the same day.

According to the Ordinance on the Charging of Fees in the Field of Information, Communication, Media pursuant to § 30 of the Higher Education Act of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (GebO-IKM NRW) of August 18, 2005, late fees are charged if the loan period is exceeded, even without a prior reminder.

The amount of the fees depends on the time limit being exceeded. The following fees are charged per volume

• 2,- Euro, if the loan period is up to 10 calendar days
• 5,- Euro, if the loan period does not exceed 20 calendar days
• 10,- Euro, if the loan period is up to 30 calendar days
• 20,- Euro, if the loan period is exceeded by more than 40 calendar days.

In case of late return of a medium borrowed within the framework of the short loan (e.g. reference library), 2,- Euro per borrowed media unit and calendar day will be charged. As long as late fees have not been paid, no new media can be borrowed from the library.

Please note that the library only accepts bank transfers for the payment of fees.

After the transfer has been made, please show proof of payment in the library or send it by e-mail .

Introductions to the library take place at the beginning of each semester. The dates are announced in good time on the library homepage (under "You can reach us") and on notice boards.
