(N)on Site Bodies

Spaces shape our bodies and bodies shape space. By means of site-specific performances, the project (N)ON SITE BODIES explores public places and exhibition spaces in a dance-choreographic way - and makes parameters of physical, psychological and architectural space visible through materials, sound and movement.
(N)ON SITE BODIES was conceived by Jan Burkhardt and Nicole Wendel and has so far taken place in the context of the Long Night of Museums in Düsseldorf at the KAI 10 I ARTHENA FOUNDATION, in the Zitadelle Spandau as well as in the context of the Floriade Expo 2022, German Pavilion, Almere, Netherlands.
