We are glad that you have found your way to us. And because you have found us, we think you know all too well the pull that sounds, movements, physicality, interaction, but also challenge exert on us. You are moved, touched, touched. It was on the basis of this feeling and a great deal of joy in playing that the predecessor institution of the Cologne University of Music and Dance, the "Conservatorium of Music in Coeln", was founded in 1845 - in order to experience this feeling on a daily basis, to pass it on, to grasp it and ultimately to master it.
Today, with three campuses in Cologne, Aachen and Wuppertal, the Cologne University of Music and Dance is one of the largest art academies in Europe. Students from over 50 nations meet internationally renowned lecturers and a very wide range of courses.
