Re-registration

All students must re-register for each semester, i.e. apply to continue their studies. This re-registration must take place within the deadlines set by the university. Re-registration takes place by paying the semester fees and, if necessary, providing proof of other required documents.
Students are automatically re-registered when the fees have been credited to the account of the Cologne University of Music and Dance by the deadline and all required documents have been submitted.

Re-registration for the winter semester 2024/25 starts

from now up to and including 12.07.2024

(grace period including € 30.00 reminder fee up to and including 19.07.2024)

  • Semester ticket (Deutschland-Semesterticket)
  • Social fees for the Student Union
  • AStA contributions for student self-administration
  • University sports
  • Coverage of social hardship provision.

The respective semester fees to be paid will be communicated to you by e-mail by the Student Administration Office of the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. Please therefore check your student e-mail account at regular intervals.

To ensure that your payment is allocated correctly and that you can be reported back, please be sure to enter the new reason for payment for the winter semester 2024/25 as described below. It is essential that you state your matriculation number, which you can find on your blue student card. It is also necessary that you transfer the semester fee in the total amount and do not round up or down.
