The joy of playing and the joy of demanding play - that is what the Cologne University of Music and Dance is all about. And when it comes to the joy of playing, we don't like to be limited. That's why we offer our students a comprehensive repertoire of study options.

Instead of following a stringent educational path, we follow many different styles of playing. We want our students to become not only virtuosos in their subjects, but also versatile artistic personalities. That is why we promote interaction, interdisciplinary projects, individual artistic expression, and performance practice in the music scenes and venues of our three locations.
