Making excellence shine: The Konzertexamen is aimed at highly talented musicians and serves to promote particular artistic excellence. The program prepares students for a career as a professional concert soloist. As a certificate program beyond the Bachelor's and Master's systems, the Konzertexamen concentrates on teaching the main artistic subject. Depending on requirements, supplementary specialized teaching courses can be created, the successful completion of which is recorded in a certificate.

Admission requirements

Admission requirements for the aptitude test are a Master of Music degree or a comparable degree with the grade "very good" in the artistic main subject as well as a letter of recommendation from the main subject teacher with whom the studies at the University of Music and Dance are to be completed. For the qualifying examination, 60 minutes of program (recital) with time specifications must be submitted and the applicants must bring their own accompanist or répétiteur.

Application
