This program includes chamber and ensemble music, private lessons, seminars in contemporary instrumental and vocal techniques and in the history of new and contemporary music. In addition, it teaches skills for conceiving one's own concert formats in a wide range, through collaborations with numerous partners, such as Acht Brücken, the Education Department of the Philharmonie Köln, On Netzwerk Neue Musik, the Center for Contemporary Dance, and others. Here, students have the opportunity to gain podium experience under professional conditions in performances with the ensemble ColLAB Cologne. The program aims to give special importance to the interpretation and mediation of New Music in the students' professional perspective.
