Pre-College Cologne

Early promotion of excellence

Preparation - Orientation - Early studies

We want to bring young talents into the game as early as possible. That's why we support musically gifted/highly talented children and young people from the age of 10 at Pre-College Cologne and introduce them to university life at an early age. In a training program in which future artists are optimally supported and accompanied on their way into music.

If you have any questions about the program, please get in touch with the responsible contact person(s).

Subjects

The flexible design of the curriculum offers both preparation and orientation with undergraduate minor subjects for a later Bachelor's degree course, as well as early studies in which examinations can be taken in line with the Bachelor of Music curriculum and recognized on application at the beginning of the full degree course.

The young students document the subjects they have attended on their record sheets with signatures in their study book. They receive certificates of achievement for the examinations they have completed.

After reaching the age limit for Pre-College Cologne, they can continue their education without interruption in the junior or full degree program. The grading depends on the level of knowledge at the aptitude test and the further course of study.

A proportion of the subjects prepare students with a holistic approach for possible future studies.
