The Network 4.0 of the Universities of Music sees itself as a strategic alliance. It brings together 18 of Germany's 24 colleges of music, with a total of around 13,500 students, to jointly tap the potential of digitization for teaching and learning at colleges of music. The Network 4.0 is funded by the Innovation in HigherEducation Foundation's "Strengthening University Teaching through Digitization" program, which has the largest number of members in Germany.
