Support and advice on administrative matters

Tasks & Responsibilities

The department management and the associated secretariats support and advise the dean's offices and the teaching staff in all administrative matters and administrative matters of the departments:

Department-related matters

  • Meeting coordination and planning for departmental councils, commissions and committees
  • Department budgets and payment matters
  • Business trip and excursion matters
  • Supervision of appointment procedures in teaching
  • Inquiries regarding appointment, LfbA and teaching assignment regulations
  • Inquiries regarding honorary and visiting professorships
  • Contact point for the planning and coordination of master classes, workshops and projects


Interdepartmental matters

  • Application procedure for student/research assistants (SHK/WHK)
  • Supervision of doctoral procedures
  • Supervision of course catalog (LSF)
  • Coordination of the Germany Scholarship
  • Coordination of teaching assignments
  • Support in determining admission capacities
